On a Lantern shoot with Jackie, we stumbled upon Free Geek. Housed out of Summit United Methodist Church on 16th Avenue, Free Geek takes donated computer parts and rebuilds them into working computers, which they donate to computer labs designed to serve the public and those who cannot afford a computer and/or access to other computer labs. After a volunteer puts in 10 hours of service, they receive a Free Geek computer for free loaded with open source software.-----
